First Impressions

Listen, Lovense toys are always well packaged so I’m going to skip to the good stuff alright?

When you pick up the Domi, you can tell this thing is high quality. There is no cheap plastic feeling here, the entire toy is made from a smooth and body safe silicone and it has just the right amount of heft. There’s no unpleasant seams or gaps either, and that’s because the Domi is designed to be water-resistant IPX6 standards, meaning that it can handle “sprays of water.” You know, from cleaning… Or anything else 😜 That means you can just wash it up in the sink, but don’t try to use it in the tub or anything like that.

It’s obvious why Lovense calls this a “mini” massager, it measures just over 9 inches long, smaller than your classic wand vibrator. The massaging head is about 1.75 inches wide too, meaning I had no problem fitting it anywhere. Like in my bag. Or between my legs while they’re over his shoulders.

And since it is from Lovense, you get all the things I’ve grown to love about Lovense. A worry free one year warranty just in case something goes wrong. And in case you were wondering, from experience, their customer support is just as high quality as their toys. And of course, the Lovense Remote app, but we’ll get into that more later.

Hands On

Now it’s time to play! The Domi fits great in your hand and has just enough sculpting on the sides to ensure it’s easy to hold, even while wet or lubed. This is a big upgrade from the first version. The controls are two simple buttons that are well placed and big enough that they are easy to find without looking. You turn it on and off with a long press, otherwise the buttons cycle through the different vibration intensities and vibration patterns with a short press.

Speaking of intensity… this thing can really rock. Lovense says it has “dual rotating head technology.” I don’t really know about that, but I can say that I very rarely turn this thing up all the way.

A lot of wands really fall short when it comes to delivering the vibes where they need to be instead of your hand. The Domi has no troubles here. The neck of the vibrating head has been reinforced the perfect amount, letting it bend and control the pressure without making your hands numb. Again, this is a big step up from the first version! There’s also a little ring light that you can control from the app.

Lovense says that the battery lasts for 5 to 6 hours of playtime. I don’t last that long but I can say that I’ve been able to use this for several extended sessions without charging. When you do finally wear it out, it takes about 3 hours to charge it completely. The battery also lasts for about 4 days of standby time, this can be handy when we get into my favorite feature next.

Hands Off?

Oh yes, like almost every Lovense toy the Domi has Bluetooth and connects to the wonderful Lovense Remote app! This unlocks lots of play options and makes the Domi fully programmable.

For close range or solo play you can get finer control of the intensity using the intuitive touch controls. You can also create your own patterns or browse the patterns available in the app. These patterns can get really long, some of the most popular patterns are edging challenges that last quite a while, maybe even longer than you can.

In the mood for something a bit more dynamic? Well the app supports a sound sensitive mode that really lets you feel the volume. You can even select music from the app if you want to feel the beats.

But my favorite feature of the Lovense Remote app is the internet control options. You can link to a partner and give them the exact controls you have on your phone. This can really be fun when you take advantage of the standby time, meaning you can fall asleep after your fun and your partner can wake you up in the morning! And if you’re feeling a bit adventurous, there are even anonymous control options to let a stranger online safely control your toy.

Attachments

You thought that was all? Oh no, the good folks at Lovense even designed some optional attachments to really enhance the feelings! These are sold separately but are reasonably priced at about $25. Both attachments simply pop on to the vibrating head of the Domi and are made of the same high quality material.

Female Attachment

The attachment for the ladies brings lots of fun sensations. To start with there are the large molded wings designed to stimulate your entire vulva. If you haven’t tried anything like this it is excellent at getting the blood flowing and really cranking up your sensitivity. After that, move on to the soft bristles designed to gently tease your clit and really get you purring.

And obviously there is that long arm which is flexible and curved to allow you to position it perfectly to stimulate your g-spot. And at the base of the arm is a series of ridges just begging to grind against your clit. This combo sends me straight to combination orgasm bliss.

Male Attachment

Gentlemen, you don’t get quite the range of sensations but I promise it is still plenty fun. Those flexible wings are designed to wrap around any size tool and the inside is covered in massaging beads. And if you’re up for it, the long arm is designed to perfectly stimulate your prostate.

Worth It?

That’s a giant hell yes from me. I’ve had the original Domi in my toybox for years and the Domi 2 is even better. It’s one of the most versatile toys I have, capable of providing a bit of teasing foreplay, using during sex to get those wonderful blended orgasms, or just grabbing for quickie by myself.

Some may hesitate about the cost and I get it. The Domi is nearly twice the price of the gold standard Magic Wand. But I think the extra features you get more than justify it. The smaller size and not being tethered to a wall plug are way more convenient and the remote control ability makes it a lot more fun.
