It has been a while since Lovense released their Nora toy, but since I still get regular and enjoyable use out of mine I decided it was overdue for some well deserved praise. Lovense pretty much created the interactive toy market with their original Nora rabbit vibe and the current version has been a staple in my toy box since its release.

Lovense took the classic rabbit vibrator, added a new rotating action to target your g-spot, and then added their interactive magic on top! The result is the current Nora and it gives everybody something to love. It has never failed to satisfy and has plenty of battery to keep on giving. So read on to learn everything there is to know about the Lovense Nora .

First Impressions

The Nora is indeed a wirelessly controlled rabbit vibrator! The Bottom of the toy is a white hard plastic which is not my favorite and can make it a little slippery when wet 😉. Both the insertable portion and the “rabbit ear” are made with Lovense’s usual body safe silicone that feels wonderful, wet or dry. On the hard plastic base, you will find two hard plastic buttons, an indicator light, and on the rounded base is the magnetic connection for the charging cable.

There are many Lovense toys in my toy box and I have to say this charging cable and connection placement is unique and my least favorite. The original cable from when I first ordered the toy was circular and the magnets are not quite as strong as they need to be to keep the charger in place. I do believe the cable that comes with the Nora now is the newer designed cable with a stronger magnetism, and my Lovense cables from my newer toys do charge my Nora so this is a small note on the original design. When I charge my Nora I have to make sure to lay it flat and on a towel to prevent it from rolling and ensure that the charger and toy stay in place and connected. As an owner of mischievous cats and a frequent victim of my own clumsiness, I just find this to be best practice, although it is possibly unnecessary.

As I mentioned before, the insertable portion and the “rabbit ear” are made of lovense signature body safe silicone, smooth without being sticky, but not so smooth that it turns slimy when wet. Now the handle with the buttons and charging connection is made of hard plastic. This is not my favorite thing, personally I would prefer the whole toy was covered in their body-safe silicone. Covering it would make the whole toy waterproof instead of water resistant and make it slightly easier to hold with lube on your hands, like the We-Vibe Nova 2. This toy was released long ago in comparison so I will continue my hoping and finger crossing for a Nora revamp in the future.

The Motors… Yes, I said motors. The Nora has two independently controlled motors. The “rabbit ear” for the clit has a vibrating motor and the tip of the Nora has a rotating/wiggle style motion. Both motors are strong, and can be told to do separate things at separate speeds which leaves you with endless possibilities for sensations to tremble through. 😏

The battery in the Nora has never given me issues, allowing for hours of continuous play or many many shorter sessions over a single charge. I would say that it is correctly advertised as 3.5-4 hours of continuous play and 5 days on stand-by. I have owned my Nora for over 2 years now, one of the oldest in my collection. It has never broken and still works exactly the same after all this time and still gets plenty of use as one of my all time favorite toys to this day!

Hands On

The Nora can be controlled via the two buttons on it, but I HIGHLY recommend connecting it to the app. 🎶 It’s a whole new woooorrrrrrlllldddddd… 🎶 The app offers you much more control, allowing you to create, repeat, and toggle patterns that you create or browse patterns created by others. Independently sliding each motor exactly where you want it for all the right sensations. The app also allows the toy to be controlled from any distance by your partner. Work trip? No problem 😈

The Nora also has a Sync ability, this means you can sync your toy with another Nora, Max, or select other Lovense toys and the motions from your toy will trigger your partner’s toy. I personally believe the sensors in the Nora for sync play leave a little bit to be desired. I love playing together with Wolf, but using sync play to control his toy means I have to move the Nora quite vigorously… Too vigorous for my taste. The sensors seem to base his toy’s movement off how much I move mine. This works great the other direction though. Men’s toys are designed for thrusting. A rabbit vibrator, not so much. The Pearl made by Kiiroo has sensors for sync play as well and I do plan to review their sync play pair for comparison. Wolf and I still have a wonderful time controlling each other’s toys at the same time without using sync as well, so I personally don’t feel a loss on this.

The Nora is shaped wonderfully to hit all the best spots. When I first got my hands on it I was a bit intimidated by the size as I’m a smaller girl, but I can confidently say it works wonders for me and I have not heard any size related complains from anyone.

I originally wondered what that rotation style would do for me with the tip motor, allow me to say that I LOVE it, think softly stroking the g-spot over and over, or that elusive spot even deeper. Pair that with the always appreciated clit attention and you have an all inclusive toy that allows you so much control and even joint playing with your partner. I can attribute an innumerable amount of Os to the Nora and have never once been unsatisfied with it (except when I forget to charge it 😜).

Worth It?

Even the few things about this toy I wish were slightly different don’t decrease my love for this toy. The battery has outlived me over and over and the stimulation is next level. The shape is glorious, the texture is just the right amount of smoothness, the motors are strong and have a control that allows you to set a max if you find the highest setting painful. The app makes controlling this toy yourself a breeze and Wolf enjoys controlling it as much as I love feeling it.

All in all this toy is Amazing, It has the Angel seal of Approval! 🍓😇
